How to Download and Use Your Digital Planners

Step-by-step instructions for getting your Lilac Desk planners up and running on any device


Step 1: Download Your Files

After purchasing your digital planner, you'll receive:

Immediate Download

  1. Check your email for the download link (arrives within 5 minutes)
  2. Click the download link or button in your confirmation email
  3. Save files to your device - choose a location you'll remember
  4. Unzip the folder if your files come in a .zip format

File Formats You'll Receive

  • PDF files - work with all annotation apps
  • PNG files - for apps that prefer image formats
  • Hyperlinked PDFs - for apps that support navigation links

Step 2: Choose Your App and Import

GoodNotes v5/6 (Most Popular)

Perfect for: Beginners, natural writing feel, excellent organization

Import Process:

  1. Open GoodNotes on your device
  2. Tap the "+" button in the top right corner
  3. Select "Import" from the menu
  4. Choose "From Files" or "From Photos" depending on where you saved your planner
  5. Navigate to your downloaded files and select your planner PDF
  6. Tap "Import" - your planner will appear as a new notebook
